Matrix on all Boleite specimens has been stabilized usually with droplets of Elmers glue mixed with water. This is applied with an eye dropper to soak into te matrix and then dry hardening the matrix. Other wise the matrix would soak up water and disintegrate. Exception is if matix is Anglesite or something other than the normal matrix. ex Clyde Hardin specimen from trades of Magnet Cove material to world wide collectors. |
