_small.jpg) | Here is a specimen of terminated Quartz crystals with a thin layer of Sphalerite on the underside of the specimen giving the Quartz a light grey or light amethyst purple look. Side viewing of the Quartz shows they are typical colorless Quartz crystals. Secondary Calcite over some of the Quartz crystal terminations. No label but was with other Mexican specimens. qSpecimen of red Realgar from Mecur Mine. Mecur Mine has since been open pitted by Barrack Gold and reclaimed.
