_small.jpg) | Wm Jeffries (1820-1906), The dark crystals do resemble and match the crystals in a specimen on mindat.org in the British Museum of Natural History. As seen in the photo here, I have trouble making out the 2 in #3002 on the specimen. The specimen seems to match the species and locality. Front side of specimen is similar but somewhat better. ex Wm Jeffries label #3002 and Carnegie Museum label #2742. |
