_small.jpg) | 2.5 cm single terminated Topaz crystals with a parallel crystal on the left. Color is darker on the close up. Color is more like the large view. Large matrix specimens are uncommon and very few have been collected. The crystal is actually double terminated but has the termination on the bottom contacted attached to the matrix on the back part of the crystal at the bottom and growth etched or interrupted on the bottom front side. Specimen is not repaired and the crystal is not faked with being glued onto the specimen. ex Dave McMurdie collection. |
