Here is a large specimen of the fibrous blue Halite from France. It is from a vein of Halite with flattish contact of each face. Side view shows the fibrous structure of the Halite. Unusual to have a cabinet size specimen. All the specimens I seen in the past have been small thumbnail or even miniature size. Mindat has 8 photos with specimens in the 4 to 6 cm size and only one at 7.7 cm which is similar to this specimen.
