Here is an example of Byssolite which occurs are fibrous needle like crystals. More commonly seen around the Epidotes in Pakistan, here is a specimen from Pennsylvania. York Calcites and Wheatley Pyromorphites and French Creek Chalcopyrites are well know Pennsylvanian minerals but other locations and minerals from Pennsylvanian are not too frequently seen shows. |
