 | There is some Rhodochrosite around the outside of the specimen but in the center of the break is a small area with several small lustrous crystals. ex D W Schmerling collection. NOTE FROM A BIDDER knowledgeable in MI and MN minerals: The Clark Mine in Keweenaw Co., MI would be highly unlikely for this minerals. Rhodochrosite is known from some of the iron and manganese miners to the south of the copper ranges in the iron mining ranges, MI and WI, and at the Taylor Mine in Baraga Co., MI. |
