9atcens  ((STIBNITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Wuling Mine, Qingjiang, Jiangxi Province, China, 14 x 2 x 1.3 cm, Cabinet

Here is a large terminated Stibnite. This one is undamaged except a little scuffing on one termination edge. Overall in great shape for this soft mineral. This is one mineral specimen that has greatly come down in price (it does happen from time to time) mainly due to supply. When these first came out from China they all suffered alot of damage and nicking and they were quite pricely. Then Collectors Edge imported large quantities and changed Chinese collecting methods. So while supplies are still readily available, these excellent Stibnite specimens are inexpensive. At Tucson, Chinese dealers are still wanting $40 to $80 wholesale for similar specimens. Again they used to be originally $100 to $300 years ago.
