 | White fibrous with calcite. Mindat.org says that Crestmoreite is a mixture of Torbermorite and Wilkeite. This specimen is part of a suite of 12 specimens from Crestmore, California. It's from an old collection and was originally prepared for Ward's Natural Science Establishment by a Penn State professor. These are not aesthetic specimens but rather reference specimens of mineral species, many of which are rarely if ever seen for sale. |
