Here is a grouping of terminated stalactitic Calcite. The Calcite stalactites are dusted with black Birnessite. Black Birnessite is also inside the stalactites like a cornucopia. Birnessite is a sodium calcium manganese oxide. Specimen is from the early 1990's ex Solon Hammack.
