The white Prehnite is called jackstraw Prehnite. The Byssolite is green gray hairlike crystals. This is an old specimen from a now flooded Quarry in Pennsylvania. It is a formation with Byssolite, Apatite, Adularia, Quartz, Clinozoisite, and other minerals in a precambrian amphibolite gneiss. Only limited collecting was allowed when in operation. |
