6hlkmr ((ADULARIA)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Keystone Trap Rock Quarry, Cornog, Chester County, Pennsylvania, 6 x 3 x 3 cm, Miniature




This has the twinned white Adularia variety of Orthoclase. This is an old specimen from a now flooded Quarry in Pennsylvania. It is a formation with Byssolite, Apatite, Adularia, Quartz, Clinozoisite, and other minerals in a precambrian amphibolite gneiss. Only limited collecting was allowed when in operation.
