_small.jpg) | A few blue remnants of Covellite but the majority is pseudomorphed to Chalcopyrite. These are typically referred to as Golden Covellite. The specimen has a previous dealers label as Butte but I have seen this white matrix between blades on alot of Summitville, Colorado Covellite and Golden Covellite specimens but can not remember ever seeing it on a Butte specimens. I feel this is actually Summitville instead of Butte inspite of its label. ex Glenn Davidson collection. |
