| These are not the flat perfect cube like Pyrite specimens from Navajun, La Rioja, Spain. These are the Ambas Aguas Pyrite specimens. I have not seen these in matrix although not impossible. The matrix ones are the Navajun Pyrites. This specimen obviously has the Pyrites glued in place. I do not know if it is stabilized, repaired, or made up. Matrix looks right for the area. The three individual pyrite crystals used to sell for about $5 each. label says Lograno (Spain) which is not correct and has a price of $40. Dennis McMurdie collection. |
