 | Large black lustrous crystals with associated Quartz. I do not know if I should doubt the identificaion. But it looks like Cassiterite to me and Cassiterite seems more prevalent but most photos of Cassiterite shows a different form. No photos from this mine. In anycase it is a very fine specimen with no apparent damage. I think it is Cassiterite. Louellen Montgomery collection. |
