 | Perfectly posed insects in Amber. This is the fairly recent amber aka copal from Columbia, probably 1+ million years old. Baltic Amber is the much older, probably 50 + million years old, true amber. Neither should be confused with the "fake" Chinese amber with ladybugs and other current insects which are posed and surrounded by manmade amber, probaby 1+ years old. |
