Here is and uncommon specimen of Calcite on Basalt from the Boron Open Pit. I had not seen any Basalt and mineral combination specimens from Boron until I got part of the Minette collection. Just about all are thumbnail specimens with micro sized minerals. ex Jim Minette collection.
