_small.jpg) | Here is specimen of Clamshell Ulexite. Difficult collecting high up on a wall of Shale these are uncommon and very collectible. They look more like a fungi that grows on dead trees than a clamshell but I guess clamshell stuck. Requires two people to collected. One to remove and one to catch the falling specimen. They formed in shale. ex Jim Minette collection. |
