 | Here is a miniature specimen of Hackmanite. Hackmanite if kept in the dark becomes very pale. Exposing to the sunlight very quickly changes to the deep purple color. I tried to show this in the first two photos, but the photos do not shows the extent of the change very well. This property has a name but I can not think of it. It is also strongly Fluorescent. |
