 | Here is an exquisite Indian specimen. Multiple Calcite rhombs are covered with a Quartz druze. Then cream colored Stilbites and maroon colored Heulandites are on the druze coated Calcites. The piece is totally undamaged but has two small areas of contact, one at the base, and one near the base at the center of the edge of the Heulandite cluster where there was probable an attachment to more Heulandite and more Calcite. This may bother the perfectionist, but the rest is so good, that it is probably overlooked. Its at the left side of the horizontal photo and the bottom of the vertical photo. |
