Baltic amber is alot more rarer and expensive than Columbian Cobal Amber. Insects inclusions are also much more rarer and the insects are smaller. 28 to 54 million year old fossil conifer tree resin from an ancient forest between Finland, Poland and Russia now occupied by the Baltic sea. Amber is collected on the coast of the Baltic sea. This is a fungus knat which almost looks like a mosquito in the family of Mycetophilidae. It comes with a 3.5 x 5 inch photo.
