Red Chalcedony replaced the horn coral fossil. Many of these are only partially replaced with the red. This specimen looks to be totally replaced with the red. If you wish to cab it, it will produce more desirable cabs. The end have some surface coating that will be removed with pollishing. ex Glenn Davidson collection .
