The crushed stone quarry is precambrian, Grenville, amphibolite gneiss and this specimen is from the classic Alpine cleft type hydrothermal recrystallization. This is a classic Pennsylvania locality with the quarry currently filled with water and no collecting possible without diving equipment or holding your breath a long time.
