 | These are the premier Cuprite crystals. These are beautiful octahedral Cuprite crystals that are completely gemmy and can be faceted. They have a green Malachite coating. In some cases the Malachite is removed but the crystal surface is left with small pot marks. So mostly it is better to leave as is. On the back of this specimen on either side are contacts with at one time other side crystals. These contacts reveil the deep gemmy red crystal interior hidden by the green Malachite coating. |
