 | Here is a very large Zincite crystal which appears to be double terminated with additional Zincite attached to the termination. This was a result of problems with the Polish zinc smelters years ago. Specimens left over in dealer stocks are the only ones still offered for sale. With a high index of refraction, these are a favorite with faceters. |
