11hhjdis ((CALCITE)) $20 MINIMUM BID, Buffalo Mine, Lion Hill area, Ophir District, Tooele County, Utah, 9.5 x 7 x 2 cm, Cabinet, | |
Buffalo Mine has several forms and shapes of Calcite. Here is an undamaged specimen with brown rhombic crystals. This specimen is part of a larger formation which separated and then healed the fractured faces so that it is now a floater. Lustrous undamaged three faced rhomb corners make up the top side of this specimen. Undamaged fine specimens represent only a small percentage of 1 or 2 percent of specimens collected. |
