12hhtxis ((CALCITE)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Buffalo Mine, Lion Hill Area, Tooele County, Utah, 10 x 6.5 x 5.5 cm, Cabinet | |
Here are the typical opaque brown lustrous scalenohedral "dog tooth" Calcite from the Buffalo. The base should be trimmed for proper display. These crystals are also typically covered by a white second coating or generation of Calcite rounding the sharp tipped Calcites. A few of these both with and without the second white generation of Calcite are "fishtail" twins. NOTE: This one is not a fishtail twin. |
