This species was only collected one day by 5 club members when it was discovered to be a new species. When the group returned to collect more, the limited area was destroyed by mining and no further collecting in the area was possible. Thallium is a poisonous element and hands should be washed after handling. Gullulyite is a Thallium antimony arsenic sulfide similar to Lorandite except Lornandite does not contrain Antimony. Collected and discovered as a new species by Jim Wilson, Weber State University in 1990. ex Jim Wilson collection.
