 | Here is a beautiful super showy Indian zeolite specimen. It has large lustrous Stilbite bowtie, double terminated, crystals. The Apophyllite crystals are light green and lustrous. The Apophyllite in the main body of the specimen have sharp pointed undamaged terminations. The Apophyllite at the specimen edges have blocky terminations which are actually cleaved leaving the flat ends on the crystals. Some Apophyllite crystals are actually terminated with the flat ends and others are cleaved. It helps to look at the rest of the specimen to see if all terminations are flat and natural terminations. If a mix of pointed and flat, the flat probably have the points cleaved and missing. |
