 | Grand Deposit Mine has no photos on mindat. It has similar species as the Hidden Treasure Mine in Utah. Evidently the Grand Deposit Mine has not been collected for mineral specimens very often. I have never seen specimens from this locality ever offered for sale. These were collected many years ago by now retired mineral dealer Mark Rogers from Reno, Nevada. Here is a specimen with pockets of Calcite and acicular bluegreen Aurichalcite crystals within a brown gossan matrix. The Calcite covered much of the Aurichalcite and probably have Aurichalcite inclusions. |
