 | Here is the third Utah Variscite location. Fairfield Variscite and Phosphate nodules are world famous. Lucin solid green Variscite is now being commercially mined with much of the material being sent to China for carving like the Septarian nodule buffalos and bears and now lions, etc, etc. Amatrice Hill is the other Utah location. Specimens are seldom seen. This recently came from a Rockhound's old material and was collected years ago, maybe even in the 50's. |
