_small.jpg) | Terminated Quartz crystals with colorless sharp Barite crystals. Quartz specimen with the mine given from the Tintic district is a bit uncommon. I just had a person a couple of weeks ago with serveral specimens from Eureka (Tintic District) but had no idea what mine this came from. In reality they could of been from anywhere. This is from Dana's collection mostly from 25 years ago when local mineral collectors were active collecting at and in the many Utah mines, many which have been now sealed limited collecting to the dumps or not at all.
