 | The Taylor mine is a small open-pit iron mine prospect pits lying in an isolated patch of of the iron-formation near Alberta, Michigan which has noteworthy Pyrolusite and Manganite specimens ref Rocks and Minerals vol 58 page 108. This specimen has several vugs with the best being in front protecting sprays of terminated Pyrolusite crystals. Better in person. Photos do not show vug very well. |
