 | Undamaged sharp lustrous terminated Quartz crystal 8.5 cm in length. 2 cm Calcite rhomb attached to one side. Base is sawn flat for perfect display. Quartz crystal is water clear rock crystal. Front face is clear, other faces are a bit mat finish. ODD IS The front termination face which has a very shallow trigonal pattern like the termination of a nailhead Calcite. I did not notice it when I took the photo. I may try to take a photo showing this strange crystal face. You only notice it when reflecting light off the termination face. ex Dennis McMurdie collection. |
