 | This is a miniature Smithsonite from the Hidden Treasure which is now sealed close by the state of Utah. The Smithsonite is on a dark brown Goethite matrix. The color of the Smithsonite is different (I don't know how to describe it, a different shade, hue???) from the majority of Smithsonite from the Hidden Treasure. Probably from a different area or pocket which produced only a few or only a few were collected. Smithsonites from the Hidden Treasure vary a bit in shades of the blue green. The rice grain Smithsonite are lighter or usually white. |
