miscis lot of HORN CORAL replaced with CARNELIAN AGATE, Woodland, Utah, 2 to 2.5 cm, Thumbnails

18 pieces, These are know as Red Horn Corals. They are commonly used in lapidary to make jewelry items. There is a claim for Rockhound collecting but its getting harder and harder to find specimens. Generally you pick a spot and dig like in geode collecting. But you are probably redigging where others have dug in the past. Easier, maybe not that easy, is to find an old hoard from the 50's from an old rockhound. These specimens are right from the ground and are not tumbled or polished. They could be tumbled to bring out the red color or cabs made or sliced and polished or kept natural as is.
