_small.jpg) | Dark royal purple cluster of terminated Cactus Quartz from South Africa. Undamaged other than a couple of micro chipping. There are still alot of the Cactus Quartz specimens on the market but they are a lighter purple to a few nearly colorless specimens. This is an older specimen. I wonder if these deep purple specimens were a early fine, I have only seen a couple of these. Purple color rather than the red purple in the photos. Dana Wilson MD collection # 245. |
