The original collector wanted to hide his find and said they were from the south end, Tooele County, of the lake when they were actually from the north end, Box Elder County. The Gypsum crystals grew on brush in the lake. This specimen also has rounded indents on the bottom from impressions of rounded stones on the lake bottom |
