14hhdm.i  ((4 TOPAZ)), $5 MINIMUM BID, Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah, highest xl is 3.8 cm length, 4 Thumbnails

Sherry colored Topaz crystals. Most are terminated with areas of the Rhyolite matrix attached. Some crystals may have damage. Some crystals may have Rhyolite inclusions. These are typical of a non commercial collector having an above average great collecting trip for Topaz. My collecting trips for Topaz did not produce any specimens this nice. Commercial collecting with blasting and heavy equipment produces much better specimens for individual sale with a goal of finding large gemmy crystal clusters that sell for in excess of five thousand dollars each. It has be several decades since this grade of specimen has been found to the disappointment of collectors looking for the top specimens to add to their collections. There are probably less than 10 of these top specimens ever found
