5jwtgas ((CALCITE FISHTAIL TWIN ? with MARCASITE)),  $100 MINIMUM BID, Brushy Creek Mine, Reynolds County, Missouri, 13 x 11 x 7 cm, Cabinet,

Brushy Creek Calcites used to be plentiful but most material are in collections and not seen that often. Of the tons of specimens that were recovered, I was told by the people collecting that only about 300 fish tail twins were ever found. So this is a rarity. There are two large terminated grey Calcite that are completely undamaged and the terminations are perfect, a rarity in itself. This displays on its own without a stand. In front of these two crystals is a long twinned fishtail Calcite crystal. NOTE : I was told this is a fishtail twin and was sold as a fishtail twin. However front the front I think it may be slightly off while from the back it looks like a twin. So it probably is but I have a little doubt so buy it as the excellent Brushy Creek specimen it is. There is possitively no damage and all tips are sharp.

Sold For: $100
