lustrous Galena cleavages on a matrix from a Phoenixville lead silver mine worked from 1851 to 1860 then reopened from 1917 to 1920. This specimen was collected on the dumps 4/16/09 by a local Pennsylvania field collector. These Phoenixville mine consist of the Wheatley and Chester County Mine and several others from the same deposit, the Wheatley Lode.
