Here is a specimen with terminated scalenohedral crystals of Calcite with multiple generations of Calcite. Original crystals have a white opaque crystal with a brown exterior layer. Then a secondary growth of white opaque small Calcite crystals forming a snow like white covering over the terminations, peaks of the original crystals like a mountain range after a snow storm. Old material that will probably never be collected again. Access is not allowed by owners. Collected in the late 80's to early 90's by Solon Hammack a prominent Utah field collector in the 80's. ex Solon Hammack collection.
