b29 HEMATITE on QUARTZ with ZUNYITE and SERICITE, Vita Grande Claim, near Quartzite, La Paz Coutny, Arizona, 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm | |
Hematite is the black lustrous crystals and there is some Quartz. Checking on www.mindat.org Sericite is a variety of Muscovite consisting of small flakes of mica. Zunyite is a white mineral which I presume is most of the white showing on the specimen. The Quartz is mainly small clear to white crystals of a transluscent crystal. It is mixed with the other white looks alot different than Quartz. However I am not familiar with Zunyite or Sericite. |
