 | Here is a section of Petrified Wood with red and green Precious Opal seen on each end of the wood. Wood is fairly soft and probably can not be polished or made into jewelry. Even min tack could pull parts of the specimen apart. For the photos I just laid it against the min tack. It was sticky enough to hold it in place without pulling on the specimen to remove it. |
