Whinchite is a yellowish crystal of which there are several partial crystals and a 2 cm terminated crystal. Hackmanite is a light reddish purple which changes to a royal blue when "charged" with the UV of sunlight which is called tenebrescence. Also Fire orange Fluorescent under SW UV light and also strongly phosphorescent. This is a very interesting specimen. |
