7atkres ((AZURITE)),  $200 MINIMUM BID, Tsumeb, Namibia, 10 x 7 x 7 cm, Cabinet,

Here is a large Azurite specimen with lots and lots of terminated Azurite crystals. These are not the lustrous dark blue Tsumeb Azurite crystals. These are the lighter blue, more matte luster crystals which also have some of the course sandy like matrix on some of the crystal surfaces. This is also in great shape with no apparent or dings on the crystals. Sits up or on its side on its own for display. Photos do not really do justice and it is therefore better in person. There are 5 photos on the webpage gallery of this auction. I do not know if this style crystal is the beginning of being etched or has just formed this way. I have seen Tsumeb Azurite crystals with the lustrous dark blue on one side of the crystal and this lighter blue matte luster on the other side of the same crystal.
