_small.jpg) | I rephotographed to accent the lustrous crystals. Per mindat.org this rare Kurnakovite specimens were only collected during the very early days of open pit mining at Boron. They are not often seen for sale. These large ones are also very expensive when you see them on the market. This large specimen has several large crystals with faces 9 and 10 cm across and 2 cm or more thick. It also was coated to preserve the crystals. There is also associated white opaque Ulexite. ex Jim Minette collection. |
