 | This looks like a natural Citrine. The matrix and the specimen is not the typical Amethyst Cathedral section. The Amethyst Cathedrals are gas bubbles in Basalt. Most citrines are heat treated Amethyst from sections of the cathedrals. This specimen is a thick Quartz and does not have the Basalt backing. This is not a section of Amethyst Cathedral. This looks like natural Brazilian Citrine. |
