Smithsonite specimens are uncommon to rare from Sierra Mojada with only a few shown on mindat.org unlike the prolific Choix, Sinaloa Smithsonites. A specimen solid grey Smithsonite made up of two large lustrous pearly spheres or botryoids with a whitish grey layer of Smithsonite on the top. It has an indent on the one side from contact with another large sphere of Smithsonite. ex Benny Fenn collection.
