NATIVE COPPER in ANDESITE, SERPENTINE, Caledonia Mine, Rockland, Michigan, 8 x 8 x 4 cm | |
This is two specimens in one. Sitting on the flat base makes a nice specimen of Andesite with Serpentine. A large group of Copper emerges from the Serpentine and protrudes from the rest of the rock. If the specimen is displayed on its side with the flat base on display. It reveals a polished flat base with a large copper core which explains the weight of the specimen. |
